Wolseley Industrial acquires Louisiana Chemical Pipe, Valve & Fitting Inc.

Ferguson Enterprises Inc. in Newport News announced the acquisition Tuesday of Louisiana Chemical Pipe, Valve & Fitting Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company will operate as part of Ferguson’s industrial division, Wolseley Industrial Group, which supplies products and services to the North American industrial market. Louisiana Chemical distributes stainless steel, carbon steel and nickel alloy pipe, valves, fittings and flanges. Bobby DeAngelo founded the company in 1998 and will remain as general manager. It has three locations, two in Baton Rouge, and one in Sulphur, La.
“There is a strong demand for PVF products and services in the Gulf Coast region, and we are confident this acquisition will enable us to fully meet this demand by enhancing our local presence,” Rob Braig, vice president for Wolseley Industrial Group, said in a statement. Wolseley Industrial Group has 260 locations and more than 3,200 employees. Ferguson Enterprises is the largest wholesale distributor of residential and commercial plumbing supplies and pipe, valves and fittings in the U.S.
