Tysons Corner skyline to see change
June 13, 2011 11:52 AMCityline Partners LLC is moving ahead with plans that will change the Tysons Corner skyline after purchasing much of the office building portfolio from the West Group last year. One new development in the making is a new 340,000-square-foot building that at 225 feet would be more than twice as high as the current 90-foot limit. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approved the exception for the project earlier this month. Cityline plans to demolish an existing, two-story, 79,883-square-foot building on Colshire Drive near Route 123 in McLean to make way for the new building. It’s expected to become part of the Mitre Corp.’s office campus.
