Tishman Speyer buys Arlington office tower for $205 million

Tishman Speyer has purchased a 19-story, 392,000-square-foot office building in Arlington from Beacon Capital Partners LLC for $205 million, or $523 per square foot, according to CoStar Group. The Class A property, built in 1980, is located at 1300 North 17th St. in the Rosslyn-Ballston submarket. CoStar reports the building as fully leased with tenants that include Pepco Energy Services and BAE Systems, Inc. Tishman Speyer plans to renovate the lobby and elevators and add a fitness center. Drew Flood and William Collins of Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate represented Beacon Capital in the sale.
