The Shopping Center Group (TSCG), the largest privately owned, retail real estate advisory firm in the eastern U.S., has been named the exclusive leasing advisor for The Shops at White Oak Village by Phoenix-based Cole Real Estate Investments. An affiliate of Cole purchased the center in eastern Henrico Count for $68 million in October.
Anchored by JCPenney, Office Max, PetSmart and Martins, White Oak Village also offers more than 40 small shop retailers, clothing stores and restaurants. “With its wide variety of shopping and dining choices, White Oak Village is the premier destination for the Eastern Richmond community,” Kevin South, a TSCG leasing agent, said in a statement.
White Oak Village is located at the intersection of Interstate 64 and South Laburnum Avenue. Cole owns 435,000 square feet of the 1 million-square foot shopping center, which has an occupancy rate of 95.5 percent.
The Shopping Center Group represents more than 350 retailers and restaurants in the U.S. Currently, the firm manages more than 10 million square feet of retail property. Its 22 offices include locations in Richmond, Norfolk, and Washington, D.C.
