Thalhimer reports increase in business for 2012

Business was better for Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer in 2012 than in 2011. The Richmond-based company, with 10 offices in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina, said it completed a total of 2,100 lease and sale transactions in 2012 valued at $1.15 billion. The figures include 14.2 million of square feet that were leased and 7.2 million square feet of sold building space.
In 2011, the firm saw $868 million in transactional volume on 1,884 lease and sale transactions. The company leased about 10 million square feet of space and sold 5.7 million square feet of space.
