Richmond ranks No. 7 for business
March 20, 2008 7:53 AMForbes ranked Richmond its No. 7 spot on its annual list of the 100 best cities for business and careers.
Virginia also had other high-ranking cities. Lynchburg was ranked 24th, Northern Virginia 25th, Virginia Beach 28th and Roanoke 98th.
Raleigh, N.C. topped the list for the second year in a row.
Forbes also includes a similar list for smaller metropolitian areas. On that list, Charlottesville was ninth, Blacksburg was 10th, Winchester was 19th and Harrisonburg was 39th.
