NatureServe,  a nonprofit conservation organization, has relocated its headquarters from Rosslyn to Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood.  NatureServe signed a long-term lease for 13,973 square feet of space at 4600 N. Fairfax Drive. The 143,341-square-foot building, close to the Ballston Metro station, is about 85 percent leased.

The Washington, D.C.-based Ezra Co. represented NatureServe in the transaction. Associate Vice President Erica King said in a statement that the deal will reduce the nonprofit’s annual facility costs by more than 25 percent.

Ezra continues to expand its work force in metropolitan Washington. The commercial real estate company has added two senior vice presidents and seven associates, with the new hires spread out among its offices in Washington, Tysons Corner and Bethesda, Md.  Ezra focuses on representing tenants.
