May 11, 2011 4:05 PM

In a move designed to boost growth, MetroStar Systems has opened a new office in Stafford. The technology services and consulting company said the 11,500-square-foot space at 51 Barrett Heights Road will serve the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in a variety of projects, and has been designed to provide the company with expansion opportunities.

“Our new facility represents our company’s continued commitment to the U.S. Marine Corps community as well as our expansion in the government technology market,” Ali Reza Manouchehri, CEO and co-founder of MetroStar Systems said in a statement.

MetroStar Systems, based in Reston, will consolidate its USMC program in the Stafford facility, closing another smaller office there on Garrisonville Road.  The new office will allow MetroStar Systems to build capacity and offer service in enterprise collaboration, IT modernization, mobile integration services and training in the greater Quantico area.  The company has clients in the federal, defense, state, local and private sectors.
