Harris Teeter and more apartments approved for Alexandria
July 02, 2011 8:00 AMA 52,000-square-foot Harris Teeter grocery store and 175 apartments are coming to Alexandria’s Old Town North section. The city council approved the plans in late June. Developers for the project are Buchanan Partners of Gaithersburg, Md., The Pinkard Group of Bethesda and Theo Androus, backed by equity partner Buvermo Properties Inc. of Bethesda. The project is scheduled to break ground in the first quarter of next year.
