Richmond-based Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer reports that the firm’s eight Virginia and North Carolina offices completed 146 lease transactions totaling 1.3 million square feet with a transactional value of $59 million in June. Industrial building transactions of 898,000 square feet accounted for the largest amount of space leased. Office and retail leases came to 142,000 and 268,000 square feet, respectively.
In addition, Thalhimer reported 11 sale transactions totaling $15.5 million. The sales included industrial, office and retail buildings and land transactions.
Through June, Thalhimer said it has completed 840 lease transactions and 84 sale transactions for the year, valued at more than of $465 million.
