Richmond-based Bon Secours Virginia has opened a health clinic for its employees and their families.
The Good Health Clinic, a pilot program based at the health system’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Henrico County, provides care for non-emergency illnesses.
Bon Secours officials said the clinic accommodates walk-in appointments and provides extended weekday and weekend hours. Patients using the clinic also can sign up for a MyChart personal health record to view lab results, schedule appointments and communicate with physicians.
Another initiative, the Good Health Pharmacy, also is located on site at St. Mary’s.
The St. Mary’s clinic will serve more than 7,000 employees and their families.
Bon Secours plans to open five other clinics across its health-care system during the next two years. The second clinic is slated for the Hampton Roads area.
Bon Secours includes four hospitals in the Richmond area and three in Hampton Roads. The health system has nearly 11,000 employees.
