Another major new office tower coming to Tysons Corner
July 11, 2011 11:23 AM

Lerner Enterprises has started construction on an 18-story, 476,000-square-foot Class A office building in The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II. The project at 1775 Tysons Blvd. is near a new Metro station scheduled to open in 2013. Lerner, based in Rockville, Md., already has built four office buildings and Tysons Galleria at Tyson’s II, a mixed-use development with easy access to I-495.  Whiting Turner Contracting Co. of Chantilly is serving as general contractor while Cushman & Wakefield is providing office leasing. The building will incorporate many green features including a photovoltaic solar array on the roof that will supply some of the project’s energy needs.
