Enterprising Women Magazine has awarded a 2011 “Enterprising Women of the Year” award to Angela Drummond, CEO of SiloSmashers Inc.
Drummond founded the Fairfax-based management and IT consulting firm in 1992. Over the last year, SiloSmashers has grossed more than $20 million in annual sales and increased revenues 18 percent. Drummond was one of eight women listed among companies with $10 million to $25 million in revenues.
Drummond created, authored and led development of SiloSmashers’ Peak Performance methodology, which helps companies operations become more efficient.
Other Virginia women that made the list include Kathy Albarado of Reston-based Helios HR in the category of companies with $5 million to $10 million in annual sales; Ashley McNeff of United States Homeland Investigations Inc. in Alexandria for companies with $1 million $5 million in sales; and Pat Wirth of Potomac Falls Express Lube & Car Wash and Beverly Morton Billand of The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm in Lovettsville for companies with less than $1 million in annual revenue.
