The board of directors of MHI Hospitality Corp. named David R. Folsom president of the Williamsburg-based lodging real estate investment trust. In addition, Folsom will remain as COO, a position he has held the last five years. Before joining MHI, he served as a vice president for Paragon Real Estate. MHI’s portfolio includes investments in 10 hotel properties, comprising more than 2,000 rooms.
