SAIC Inc. has announced a strategic realignment that brings change among some key corporate personnel. The McLean-based defense contractor is moving from four to three operating units, effective Aug. 2.
Charles Koontz, who currently leads the Information Technology and Network Solutions Group — which will be consolidated into one of the three new groups — will become executive vice president for strategic products, reporting directly to CEO Walt Havenstein.
Among other changes Larry Cox, senior vice president and general manager of the Intelligence and Information Solutions Business Unit, will lead the company’s cyber security program, also reporting to Havenstein. Jim Cuff, Tony Moraco and Deborah Lee James were promoted to executive vice poresident positions.
