Matt Holland has been named vice president of operations at the Richmond division of Super Radiator Coils (SRC). He will oversee the division’s sales, engineering and manufacturing operations. Holland returns to SRC after serving as COO of Enviva LP, a renewable energy company that he-founded. Earlier, he began his career at Minneapolis-based SRC where he worked as a production manager for the Richmond division and later as general manager of the company’s first plant in Phoenix, Ariz.
Holland replaces Ray Birk, who headed the division since 1982 and was named SRC’s first vice president of industrial sales. In his new position, Birk will lead the company’s continued expansion in growth markets, including power generation, wind energy and heavy duty heat exchanger applications. With 110,000 square feet, the Richmond division is the largest of SRC’s four manufacturing operations.
