Benchmark Hospitality has appointed three new managers at its Lansdowne Resort in Loudoun County.
David Kohlasch has been named general manager of the resort. Kohlasch most recently worked for Flik Conference Center Management, managing hotels and conference centers around the U.S. He also was COO and executive vice president of the Ronald Reagan building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C., and vice president at the World Trade Center in Boston.
The company named Robert M. Haislip director of operations. Haislip was formerly assistant general manager and director of operations at Chateau on the Lake Resort in Branson, Mo., where he oversaw operational improvements, expanded guest services and the opening of luxury spa.
Matthew Samuel “Sam” Ackerman was named director of facilities for Lansdowne. He was formerly director of engineering for the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Fort Lauderdale, which he also helped open.
