Jeff Boehm, vice president of Howard Shockey & Sons Inc. in Winchester, will serve as vice chair of the General Contractor Council for the Virginia Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors in 2011.
The statewide association represents construction-related industries. The council meets to address and provide solutions for industry-wide general contractor issues.
Boehm has worked for Shockey & Sons 24 years. He is responsible for leading the private company’s strategic growth and specializes in the development of public-private partnerships.
