The CEO of an asset management group, an investments specialist and an ophthalmologist are among five new trustees appointed to the board of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts by Gov. Bob McDonnell. The new appointees for 2010-11 are:
G. Moffett Cochran V of New Canaan, Conn., chairman and CEO of Silvercrest Asset Management Group, LLC; John H. Hager of Richmond, Virginia’s lieutenant governor from 1998 to 2002; H. Eugene Lockhart of Keswick, chairman of financial institutions investments at Diamond Castle and chairman of The Darden School Foundation Board of Trustees at the University of Virginia; William A. Royall, Jr. of Richmond, founder of Royall & Co.; and Dr. Lindley T. Smith, a Midlothian ophthalmologist.
