Gov. Bob McDonnell has appointed Curtis Carr of Estes Express Lines to Virginia’s Board of Transportation Safety. Carr has worked as vice president of safety and risk management for Estes in Richmond since 1998. He also serves on the American Trucking Association Safety Management Council.
