If Virginia’s state legislators think they fixed the state’s transportation woes last year, Corey A. Stewart wants them to think again. Stewart, chairman of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors, expects the Northern Virginia delegation’s new power in state politics to bring home results. It’s not an uncommon sentiment among local residents who believe that for too long Virginia’s most powerful economic engine has been shortchanged at the state legislature.
