Washington Post to launch weekly business publication
March 15, 2010 9:47 AMThe Washington Post will start a new weekly business publication to cover the Washington, D.C., area business community.
The first issue of Capital Business will be released April 19.
Capital Business will include business analysis, in-depth stories and commentary on the business community. It will focus on the region’s largest industries, including government contracting, technology, finance, commercial real estate and the legal community.
Arnie Applebaum, general manager of the Post’s El Tiempo Latino and Express, will become general manager of Capital Business. Dan Beyers, who has worked for the Post for more than 20 years and was previously a senior topic editor, will be editor of the publication.
