Wal-Mart purchases 53 acres in Powhatan for $3.3 million

Wal-Mart has purchased 53.3 acres along Rt. 60 in Powhatan for $3.3 million from E.M. Ciejek, Inc. and Outerbanks Limited Partnership and plans to develop a retail supercenter at the location. Lee Warfield III of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled sale negotiations on behalf of Wal-Mart.

In another sale, Thalhimer announced that Teton Sales Inc. purchased a 46,000-square-foot office/warehouse property on Carolina Avenue in Henrico County from 3703 Carolina Ave. LC for $1 million as an investment.
