Versar completes acquisition of Charron Construction Consulting
June 01, 2012 3:38 PMSpringfield-based professional services firm Versar Inc. has completed its acquisition of Charron Construction Consulting Inc., a construction project management firm.
The acquisition of Dulles-based Charron is expected to provide Versar with more than $4.5 million in additional annual gross revenue in the first year.
Charron is expected to add more than $8.8 million in contracted backlog.
Versar reported $97 million in funded backlog on April 1, up 37 percent from $71 million at the same point last year.
