Richmond will host Virginia Commonwealth University’s 21st annual Real Estate Trends Conference tomorrow on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. More than 800 professionals from industry sectors including law, development, finance, construction and brokerage typically gather to get the latest reports on forecasts and trends.
The half-day event begins at 8:30 a.m. Mark G. Dotzour, chief economist and director of research for Texas A&M University’s Real Estate Center, will be the opening speaker. Later in the conference, John B. Levy, president of John B. Levy & Co. in Richmond, will serve as moderator for a panel discussion entitled, “The Road to Recovery or Trending Towards the Cliff.”
