The Limited targets Richmond for expansion
November 03, 2011 4:18 AMWomen’s apparel specialty retailer The Limited will open its third store in Richmond on Friday.
The new store at Short Pump Town Center in western Henrico County will be the 11th location in Virginia for the Columbus, Ohio-based chain.
The company said the Richmond area had been identified as a priority market as it adds new stores.
The Limited ’s other Richmond-area stores at a Chesterfield Towne Center in Chesterfield County and Virginia Center Commons in Northern Henrico.
In opening the 4,500-square-foot store at Short Pump, the company will donate a percentage of its sales through Sunday to YWCA Richmond’s Outstanding Women Award.
The Limited has 230 stores nationwide.
