Swift Air Logistics LLC has leased 33,600 square feet of industrial space in the Seventeen North Distribution Center at 713 Fenway Ave. in Chesapeake.
The company, founded in 1978, provides air freight support services in the Central Virginia area. It wanted a presence in South Hampton Roads to service customers in that area. Swift Air’s home office is in Ruckersville, and the company has locations in Charlottesville and Richmond.
