How did you become interested in personal financial planning?
“When family members needed some financial planning advice, they turned to me, assuming that CPAs knew everything about personal finances.  But I was an auditor in public accounting at the time and rarely dealt with individual wealth management issues.  So I decided to educate myself and earned the PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) and CFP (Certified Financial Planner) professional designations.  Fortunately, Wall, Einhorn and Chernitzer PC wanted to start a registered investment advisory firm at the same time, so it was a perfect time to change careers.”
