SpaceX plans to open a new office in Chantilly
February 06, 2012 12:21 PMThe Los Angeles Times is reporting that Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (better known as SpaceX ) plans to open a new, larger office in Chantilly so it can be closer to its key customer — the U.S. government. The private company, based out of Hawthorne, Calif., already has a small office in Washington, D.C. The company, which currently makes rockets in a facility near the Hawthorne Municipal Airport, reportedly wants a location close to the National Reconnaissance Office in Chantilly.
