Snagajob unveiled a new iPhone application Wednesday that it says will allow hourly employers to make hiring decisions on-the-go.
The mobile app provides access to detailed information on applicants and lets hiring managers review candidates via a Web-based dashboard in the palm of their hand. The tool can handle background checks and provides an automated way to ensure compliance on federal and state tax forms and can verify I-9 employment eligibility forms through the federal E-verify program.
The Snagajob Hiring Manager platform works on smartphones such as Android, BlackBerry and the iPhone. Based in Richmond, Snagajob.com provides hourly employers with an online community of more than 30 million workers. “Our long-standing philosophy has been that people’s dreams begin with the right job, and we are living up to that mission by helping employers more effectively and easily source, hire and manage talent — wherever they are,” Snagajob CEO Shawn Boyer said in a statement.
In the coming months, the company plans to release Snagajob Training Manager, a program that includes an online system to automate training processes.
