S&K to liquidate today
May 19, 2009 9:05 AMMenswear retailer S&K Famous Brands Inc. could be auctioned today to a company that would likely close its stores and liquidate its merchandise, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Hilco Merchant Resources LLC and Gordon Brothers Retail Partners are the two companies bidding for the property. The companies worked together earlier this year on liquidating Circuit City merchandise.
S&K, based in Henrico County, entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
