SAIC receives $52 million National Science Foundation contract

McLean-based Science Applications International Corp. has received a contract to manage information technology infrastructure for the National Science Foundation.

The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options. The contract is worth more than $52 million if all options are exercised.

SAIC will improve the foundation’s database architecture, streamline data center processes, improve communications and create a more portable model.
