SAIC awarded Navy contract

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) with a contract to provide engineering and technical services to the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program Office (PMA-262).
The task has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total value of more than $39 million if all options are exercised.
PMA-262 manages the development, production, fielding, and sustainment of all persistent maritime unmanned aircraft systems. Under contract, SAIC will support these programs by providing specialized services in engineering, analysis, development, integration, testing, and fleet introduction.
