Ruth’s Chris Steak House is staying put at its Midlothian location. The restaurant has renewed its lease for 9,205 square feet of space at The Shoppes at Belgrade, a shopping center located at the intersection of Robious and Huguenot Roads. Bob Butcher of S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in Norfolk represented the landlord. Another well-known Richmond area restaurant plans to open a second location at the Chesterfield County center. Richmond Restaurant Group is taking over the space next to Ruth’s Chris for a Hard Shell restaurant. It will be resemble the Hard Shell’s current Shockoe Slip location. The space’s most recent tenant was Outer Banks Seafood Co., which closed after less than a year in operation.
