Rolls-Royce, a global power systems company with a Reston-based North American office, has received a $183 million contract to service the United States Army’s M250 engines.

The engines power the Army’s fleet of OH-58D Kiowa Warrior scout helicopters.

The Army has the option to extend the contract, which begins this month, for four more years.

The contract is a component of the Rolls-Royce MissionCare military customer support system, which has contracts with all branches of the U.S. military.
