Reynolds to lay off 158 plant workers
June 04, 2009 9:26 AMReynolds Packaging Group plans to lay off 158 employees at a Richmond plant by Aug. 1, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Last year, Reynolds announced it would cut 490 jobs in Richmond and close its aluminum foil plants.
The plant has about 325 employees.
Reynolds was sold by Alcoa in 2008 to Rank Group Ltd., a private investment firm in New Zealand. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
