Later this year Rees Broome PC will move its Tysons Corner office to an eight-story, 210,632-square-foot building at 1900 Gallows Road, staying in the Tysons Corner submarket.
The firm signed a long-term lease for 31,173 square feet of space, about the same amount of space it occupies now at 8133 Leesburg Pike, where Rees Broom has resided for the past 20 years.
According to Washington, D.C., based The Ezra Co., which negotiated the deal on behalf of Rees Broome, the firm will see lower rental rates and receive a build-out allowance and concessions package. Ezra Co. Principal/Executive Vice President Gene Martin, Senior Vice President David Kinney and Senior Vice President Damon Rothman negotiated the deal.
The law firm’s new space is currently under construction, and Rees Broome plans to settle into its new office around Sept. 1. 1900 Gallows Road, owned by Brandywine Realty Trust, was built in 1989 and renovated in 2009.
Rees Broome has 40 attorneys and specializes in practice areas such as litigation, business, tax, estates, employment, construction-defect liability, homeowners’ and condominium associations. It also has offices in Gainesville and Bethesda, Md.
