Performance Food Group sale complete
May 27, 2008 7:43 AMThe Richmond area officially lost a Fortune 500 company today.
Goochland County-based Performance Food Group was bought today by the Blackstone Group and Wellspring Capital Management LLC.
Under the deal, Performance Food Group will merger with Vistar Corp., another food company based in Colorado.
The merged company will continue to operate from Goochland.
