Packaging company to create 35 new jobs in Powhatan
October 25, 2012 1:34 PMWEIGHTPACK Inc., a packaging machinery company that designs and builds line for filling and capping liquid product containers, will spend $2.6 million to expand its Powhatan County operation, creating 35 new jobs.
The company also will move its headquarters operation from Italy to the Powhatan production facility.
“The decision to move our corporate headquarters from Italy to Virginia reflects our belief that the United States has and will continue its leadership role in the high technology field throughout the world,” WEIGHTPACK CEO Gianguido Corniani said in a statement.
