Northrop Grumman to buy Australian cyber-security company

Northrop Grumman has agreed to purchase Australian cyber-security company M5 Network Security Pty Ltd.

The acquisition is subject to Australian government review and would take place close to the end of the year.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“This acquisition enhances our ability to provide innovative, agile and proven cyber-security and communication solutions to Australian customers,“ said Wes Bush, Northrop Grumman chairman, chief executive officer and president.

In addition to cyber-security solutions, M5 Network Security also provides secure mobile communications products and services and advanced analytics to Australian military and intelligence organizations.
