The Mumford Co. has opened an office in Washington, D.C., adding to the hotel real estate brokerage firm’s operations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and its headquarters in Newport News.
The company said the office will help it better serve clients and customers throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. “By having a physical presence in this dynamic market, we are better positioned to service our client and customer needs both in the metro D.C. market and the entire northeast,” David Mumford, a senior principal of Mumford, said in a statement. “While we have enjoyed solid success in this area over the years, our D.C. office will allow us to build upon these results.”
Mumford selected Justin Pinkard, a veteran broker within the company, to oversee the office. Pinkard has been with Mumford since 2005 when he joined the firm as an analyst/sales assistant.
He was promoted to sales associate in 2006 and established himself as a leader in sales production.
The Mumford Co. has handled more than 800 completed transactions in its 33-year history. It specializes in the sale of mid-market and economy hotels.
