Massachusetts REIT buys six Stafford County office buildings
July 11, 2011 10:42 AMCommonWealth REIT, based in the Boston area, has purchased a six-building office portfolio of 228,000 square feet in North Stafford County for $56.1 million, according to the Fredericksburg Free-Lance Star. Four of the buildings are located at the Stafford Commerce Center off Garrisonville Road while the other two are part of the Aquia Commerce Center. The office centers are home to several defense-oriented agencies and contractors. The acquisition boosts CommonWealth’s portfolio in the area to 348,000 square feet.
