Martin Agency wins Expedia.com account

The Martin Agency has been picked by Expedia.com as its advertising agency of record. The Richmond-based ad agency will handle the company’s broadcast, print, radio and digital marketing. Media planning and buying and public relations are not included in the deal.

Expedia.com, a leading online travel site based in Bellevue, Wash., chose the Martin Agency from a field of more than 100 agencies following a five-month review process. Paul Leonard, vice president-brand marketing for Expedia.com, said the Martin Agency is the best fit for the company because of its creative capabilities and focus on delivering business results.

The Martin Agency’s other clients include BFGoodrich, GEICO, NASCAR, UPS and Wal-Mart.
