Mantech defies bad economy
February 26, 2009 9:20 AMDefense contractor ManTech International reported a 29 percent increase in revenues for 2008, showing continued resilience of defense contractors during a bad economy.
The Fairfax company reported yearly revenues of $1.9 billion, up $423 million over 2007. ManTech attributed the increase to its new business, which supports national security programs for the Department of Defense, intelligence and Homeland Security related agencies.
Net income was $90.3 million, up 34 percent over 2007.
