Fairfax-based ManTech International Corp. has signed an agreement to acquire MTCSC Inc. for $75 million in cash.

MTCSC is government contractor specializing in command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) and cyber security. The company is headquartered in Chula Vista, Calif., but has a major presence in Stafford. It holds several large contracts with the U.S. Marine Corps for classified efforts, and expects to produce $83 million in revenue in 2010.

MTCSC will become a part of ManTech’s Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology (SEAT) group. George J. Pederson, ManTech chairman and CEO, said in a statement that the acquisition fits the company’s long-term strategy of focusing on high-end defense and intelligence technology support.

The transaction is subject to certain closing conditions and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
