Lynchburg company related to peanut butter recall

A Lynchburg-based company produced the peanut butter that tested positive for salmonella bacteria, according to the Associated Press.
Peanut Corporation of America told the Associated Press that the contaminated peanut butter was found in a nursing facility so the contamination could have come from an outside source.
Peanut Corporation produces the peanut butter for the Ohio distributor that recalled its King Nut and Parnell’s Pride brand peanut butter jars after an open container tested positive for salmonella bacteria. (Associated Press)
