- October 22, 2012
Liberty Property Trust is hosting an open house and tours on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to celebrate the rebranding of Richmond Distribution Center (formerly known as the Fairgrounds Distribution Center.)
The center, at 4301-4335 Carolina Ave., consists of 11 warehouse/distribution buildings totaling more than 1.9 million square feet. Liberty spent about $400,000 to upgrade exterior facades. It also updated landscaping and installed new signage. The center is bordered by Richmond International Raceway, Meadowbridge Road and Laburnum Avenue with access to Interstates 64, 95 and 295.
Tenants in the center include Global Stainless, Terry’s Tire Town, American National Red Cross and G- Force Indoor Karting.
On hand for the event will be Craig Cope, vice president and city manager for the Virginia region; Bob Goldschmidt, senior vice president and regional director; and Brian Felton, senior leasing representative, along with the Liberty Property Richmond team.
Liberty, a real estate investment trust based out of Pennsylvania, owns and manages a combined 1.8 million-square-foot office/warehouse portfolio in Hampton Roads and a 4 million-square-foot portfolio in Richmond. During the third quarter, it reported 14 leases, totaling 53,965 square feet, in these two markets.
