May 31, 2012 1:36 PM

After an absence of five years, Leesburg Today is returning to downtown Leesburg.

The newspaper’s new home will be a 246-year-old building at 19 N. King St., which is undergoing a three-month renovation.

During the renovation, the newspaper will operate temporarily from 15 N. King St.

Leesburg Today, founded in 1988, moved from 1 E. Market St. in Leesburg to Lansdowne Town Center in 2007 when the building and the publishing business were sold.

Texas-based HPR Hemlock LLC purchased Leesburg Today and other publications in March from American Community Newspapers LLC.

In addition to Leesburg Today, the publications include Ashburn Today, Loudoun Magazine, Loudoun Business, Middleburg Life, the Arlington Sun Gazette and the Great Falls, McLean, Oakton, Vienna Sun Gazette.
They have a combined circulation of more than 191,000.
