Richmond-based law firm LeClairRyan has added eight lawyers and two staff members to its New York City office.
The firm now has 51 employees in Manhattan, including 32 lawyers.
All of the new employees previously worked at Epstein Becker & Green, a 300-lawyer firm specializing in health care, labor and employment, litigation, corporate services and employee benefits.
LeClairRyan said the additional staff will expand its corporate, litigation and commercial real estate practices.
The new attorneys include Adrian Zuckerman, the co-chair of the corporate services practice for Epstein Becker, who will serve as a co-leader of LeClairRyan’s real estate industry team.
Another new attorney, Barry Cozier, was a member of the New York State judiciary for two decades before entering private practice. He was an associate justice of the Appellate Division of the state’s Supreme Court.
Founded in 1988, LeClairRyan has 350 lawyers working in offices in eight states and the District of Columbia.
