Law firm renews lease for 11 years at current location in D.C.
- November 10, 2011
Levine Blaszak Block & Boothby , a communications and technology law firm, is staying at its long-time location at 2001 L St. NW in Washington, D.C., after inking an 11-year renewal for 13,153 square feet. West, Lane & Schlager, (WLS) a Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate brokerage firm that exclusively represents tenants, negotiated the deal, with principals Rich Lane and company vice president Matt Levin representing the law firm.
The new lease begins on May 1, 2012 at the 10-story building, owned by Dweck Properties. The law firm considered a relocation, but ultimately moving was less economical than staying, Levin said, and his client received favorable terms from the landlord in the new lease.
